a new love...

I have a new love. This is why:

1. It's Free! (how many things in life are free right now?)
2. It's relaxing!
3. It's "me-time"!

Any guesses?

I bet you aren't thinking what I am thinking!

The Wicomico Library!

This summer I have fallen in love with the county library system. I have always rented DVD's but never really gotten into the books and cds. That all changed this summer. I figured out that you can request and hold different items.

So far I have gotten a lot of free music- many of you may disagree with that and I'm sorry but I burned some of the cds that I have been itching to buy and just couldn't spend the money.
Of these are: Across the Universe Soundtrack (LOVE IT!), Colbie Callait, Bethany Dillon (acoustic sessions), Casting Crowns (Altar and the Door), and many others! My next cd on hold is the new Coldplay album- Viva la Vida.

Bryan and I have also been watching The Office- if you haven't seen this show, go rent it or netflix it, or visit your library! My love for the office started in season 1 when Jim Jello-ed Dwight's stapler...classic.

I have also picked up reading novels again. I never seemed to find the time to read during school and when Bryan and I first got married. I always loved books but somehow they have been on the back-burner. Not this summer! I have read "The Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood" and now I am working on "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" because I want to read the books before the movies. I went to visit Jen Handy in VA and she also recommended Beverly Lewis' books about the Amish, so I have already picked up one. Thanks Jen!

OK- Just thought I would share about my new love for the library!

Here am I, Send me!

I have learned when God speaks to you about going, He always provides what you need.

I learned this lesson when God was speaking to me about going to Bible College in California. God spoke through all the noise of living with 7 other girls straight to me. I had never heard His voice so clearly about anything before, and there I was sitting on my bed in my QT and I knew I had to go. God provided everything I needed. When I got there, I didn't know anyone and I prayed on my bed. I prayed for a friend and God answered my prayers. Stephanie came into my life and she has been such an encouragement to me ever since.

And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus
Philippians 4:19

God has provided for all of our needs. Bryan and I knew we were supposed to go to Oregon and that God would supply all that we needed if we were in His will. All of our prayers were answered when we found out the other day that all of the support we needed for the year is in! It is truly the most humbling experience to raise support. My bestest friend in the whole world said something that hit me so hard. She said, "We know you are made for this." Its true. God has created us to spread the Gospel to unbelievers. I was created to share His love with others.
But how amazing is it that God has given us the privilege to use US! He doesn't NEED us to spread the Gospel but He uses us to be a part of the work He is doing.

Now you see why I am in awe and truly humbled.

We serve an awesome God!
God provides everything we need.
