a new love...
I have a new love. This is why:
1. It's Free! (how many things in life are free right now?)
2. It's relaxing!
3. It's "me-time"!
Any guesses?
I bet you aren't thinking what I am thinking!
The Wicomico Library!
This summer I have fallen in love with the county library system. I have always rented DVD's but never really gotten into the books and cds. That all changed this summer. I figured out that you can request and hold different items.
So far I have gotten a lot of free music- many of you may disagree with that and I'm sorry but I burned some of the cds that I have been itching to buy and just couldn't spend the money.
Of these are: Across the Universe Soundtrack (LOVE IT!), Colbie Callait, Bethany Dillon (acoustic sessions), Casting Crowns (Altar and the Door), and many others! My next cd on hold is the new Coldplay album- Viva la Vida.
Bryan and I have also been watching The Office- if you haven't seen this show, go rent it or netflix it, or visit your library! My love for the office started in season 1 when Jim Jello-ed Dwight's stapler...classic.
I have also picked up reading novels again. I never seemed to find the time to read during school and when Bryan and I first got married. I always loved books but somehow they have been on the back-burner. Not this summer! I have read "The Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood" and now I am working on "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" because I want to read the books before the movies. I went to visit Jen Handy in VA and she also recommended Beverly Lewis' books about the Amish, so I have already picked up one. Thanks Jen!
OK- Just thought I would share about my new love for the library!

Hey Elise,
What a great discovery our library is! I (Josh) used to rent stuff like, once a week or so. The Office is amazing...it is so funny! You should check out Arrested Development if you like the Office...it will crack you up! Anyhow...glad you are enjoying Salisbury in your last two months there! Happy bookworming...NERD!!!
We appareciate being kept up to date on your activities. Good luck in Oregon.
I love the library too. Although, I haven't had time to read this year. Maybe in the fall. Last summer, I checked out as many books as the kids! I wonder if ours has music...
