We aren't in Oregon anymore

Bryan and I every once in a while say to each other, "That wouldn't happen in Oregon!"

One of those times happened yesterday morning.

We have been painting a condo down in Fenwick for work since we are both still unemployed. The first month unemployed was anything but relaxing. I was constantly FREAKING OUT! But now I have come to terms with the fact that we will be living with my parents through December and it is kind of fun because we all get to decorate the tree together and cuddle on the couch. It is just like old times. We play nerts (cards) and laugh until we cry. Oh yeah...Sarah is living at my parents too so it is one big party!

So Bryan and I have enjoyed being able to work together. Yesterday we listened to podcasts, and danced around to both reggae and country. I love being silly with Bryan :)

And a couple from our church asked us to housesit which is awesome! They have a jacuzzi tub with jets which felt great last night after a day of painting.

Okay- which comes to my point of this posting.

So we decided we would stop in Salisbury at a new coffee shop *which I might add I applied to and am thinking they hired this girl instead of me :( So we both ordered an Americano and I was looking at the local art when Bryan leaned in and this is how the conversation went.

Bryan: I just watched that girl put hot water and coffee in our cups.
me: umm...yeah its supposed to be espresso shots. Should I say something?
Bryan: Yes! That is going to be gross! Watered down coffee?

Me (to Barista 1): Excuse me. Aren't Americano's with espresso shots and hot water?
Barista 1: I don't think so....I thought it was coffee and water.
Barista 2: No....it's shots and water.
Barista 1: Oh hahahaha! Its still early.

Bryan: Elise, she just said it was still early. Its 10:00. That wouldn't happen in Oregon!
me: No it wouldn't!
