My dear cousin

If you think of it pray for my cousin. She was diagnosed with a "sarcoma" of the breast. I am learning that this is not breast cancer but it is a very unusual type of cancer.

This is taken from her blog:

"Out of 28,000 cases of breast cancer the Mayo Clinic has seen over the last 50 years, 25 were sarcoma of the breast. Sarcoma is an aggressive, highly dense and fast growing cancer."

In the best case scenario Lisa will get a mastectomy and that will remove all of the cancer. The worst case scenario is that they find cancer elsewhere or it has spread and she has to go through chemo.

Lisa has and will always be someone who I look up to. She is a woman that loves Jesus and loves people deeply. She is incredibly talented in her writing and I have been convicted and uplifted by reading her blog. Visit her blog here

Lisa has four children: Julia (10), Alyssa (8), Hunter (6), and Palmer (3).

Pray for strength for Lisa and her family.

Pray that the pain in the tumor area will subside and that the cancer does not spread.
