Mother's Day

Last Mother's day I contemplated what it would be like to be a mother. I have decided that there is no greater joy in this world. When Micah looks up and smiles at me, I see God's faithfulness and answered prayers all over his face.

This day was just like any other day- woke up early, ate cereal for breakfast, didn't get a nap, went shopping for Micah's needs, and loved every minute. Micah gave me a good mother's day gift of letting me rock him to sleep at church. As he is getting older he doesn't love laying in my arms so when he is quiet and drifts off to sleep while I am still holding him, it melts my heart...along with everything else he does!

I leave you with a sad attempt at Easter pictures...Micah lasted all of 3 pictures...he knew he looked ridiculous in the bunny hat lol
