8 Months!

Bryan came into the nursery this morning and asked if Micah looked bigger to me. Honestly, it is hard for me to remember the little tiny baby that we brought home from the hospital and he does seem to be growing faster these days!

A few things have changed in the last week:

1. Sitting to tummy- I used to have to arrange Micah so that he wouldn't get bored. I would put him on his tummy and he would instantly roll to his back. He did not like being on his tummy. But now he has realized that he can get from point A to point B by rolling/scooting/turning on his tummy.

2. Tooth #2- came in today as a matter of fact! Micah made sure I noticed by flicking his fingernail on it and looking at me. He was very proud!

3. Crawling is just around the corner. He gets on hands and knees and propels himself forward. Yesterday he realized that he can move his knee forward so we shall see how long it takes him!

4. Micah doesn't stay still when changing his diaper and reaches for anything and everything within his grasp. I thought changing a newborn was hard. He pooped out of his diaper today and rolled around with poop still on his bottom- I ended up with it on my work slacks...

Micah got on all fours, rocked, and crawled!
