SAHM

I have been a stay at home mom "SAHM" now for 3 weeks. We have had our good days and our bad days but I am loving it! I should say WE are loving it! Bryan and I always imagined that I would stay at home when we had kids and we are so thankful that we are finally at a place to where it is possible.

So, before I stayed at home I made some goals for myself.

1. Meal plan for dinners and eat as a family. Almost every night while working, Micah ate first while we figured out what we were going to eat. Since I have been at home, we have sat down as a family more often that not and I think that is very important.

2. Cloth Diaper. We used to cloth diaper when I worked part-time but I never had it down to a science. I would get lazy. We bought the essential tool for cloth diapering a toddler- a diaper sprayer and since then I have been cloth diapering exclusively except at night. Micah was waking up in the middle of the night for a diaper change and I am just not willing to sacrifice my sleep right now considering we are counting down to baby #2. We went with a cheaper cloth diaper ($5 a piece) and so far we haven't had any leaks! Praise! On the left are my Sunbaby diapers and on the right are my Bumgenius. I also ordered the large

3. Play with Micah. This may seem like a no-brainer but I want to be the type of mom that is creative and plays alongside her children. I know that not every mom is like this and it doesn't always come naturally to me but I want to be on the floor with my kids- not worrying about whether my house is clean.

Here is my bump picture at 16 weeks. We have our big ultrasound next week but at this point we aren't finding out the sex....hopefully we will be patient!
