The prayer of Bryan and I before Micah came was that Bryan would have a job by the time Micah was born. The day I went into labor Bryan accepted a job in Easton even though he had applied to our county detention center here in Salisbury and wanted that job more. He knew he couldn't take the chance that he wouldn't get the job. The week after Micah was born, Bryan was called by the county to come in for his final testing for the correctional officer position. We found out he got the job and would start March 10th. He called up the company in Easton and explained the situation. They took it very well- btw.
How amazing is our God? How could this situation be any more perfect? Bryan was home for the first 5 weeks of Micah's life. We know we are blessed for multiple reasons. People in our church have offered work for Bryan so that financially we have been ok-keeping up on payments, etc. Bryan and I have both been overwhelmed by the faithfulness of our Lord!
We also found out that Bryan has the 3-11 M-F shift for now..which will be a challenge because I work 8-5 but we know it won't be forever and we have the weekends! And I know there are other couples who hardly see each other so it will be ok :)
Also, I realize blogs are much more interesting with pictures...so I need to put more pictures up. This picture of Micah was from his first bath time- he LOVES it!
